P.J. Whelihan’s Open for Business in Reading

P.J. Whelihan’s Pub & Restaurant, based out of New Jersey, has just wrapped up construction on their 15th location in Reading, PA and are open for business. Located at 1101 Rocky Road, this family-owned business is best known for their sports bar atmosphere and delicious food – burgers, fries, and half priced wings on Tuesdays! They also have many beers on tap including the P.J.W Copper Lager, a custom craft beer brewed by Downingtown, Chester County-based Victory Brewing Company.

Over the course of four months, Socius helped to transform the former Toscani Café & Bar by working on many details of the interior as well as the outside bar. P.J. Whelihan’s has five other locations in South Jersey and nine in Pennsylvania, including one at the Wells Fargo Center and one at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia. Socius Construction worked under Schorn Construction at the Reading P.J. Whelihan’s location. The restaurant officially opened their doors last Monday on November 3rd.
